My name is Mikki Winebrenner and today I have a fun Holiday card for you using Stampin Up 12” x 12” Specialty Vellum out of the July-December Holiday Catalog.

This Specialty Vellum is such a great paper to get fun and festive cards quickly! For this particular card I was able to get 6 out of 1 piece of vellum! How fantastic is that?

Before I go into detail on how I made this beautiful card, let me give you a run down of the paper sizes and some of the products I used. I have a full printable PDF available for printing at a later date as well as a full product list below.

Cutting & Scoring:

Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock : 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4” .

Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock : 1/2” x 4”.

Evening Evergreen 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”.

Evening Evergreen 8-1/2” x 11” Cardstock: 1/2” x 4”

Snowflake12” x 12” Specialty Vellum – 4” x 5-1/2”.

Silver Foil: 1/2” x 4”.

Other products used include: Brightest Glow stamp set, Evening Evergreen Classic Stamp Pad, Multipurpose Glue, Wonderful Snowflakes embellishments.

You can see here I have everything cut and ready to go for 6 cards.

First I stamped my sentiment on my Basic White strips with Evening Evergreen Ink.

I attached my Evening Evergreen cardstock to my Basic White base.

I attached the vellum over the Evening Evergreen. I only applied the glue where a snowflake was to keep it hidden.

Next I layered my strips of silver and Evening Evergreen and attached them to the vellum.

I changed my mind on how to do the sentiment and decided to cut them smaller and the words apart.

Then I attached them to the silver strip on the right side.

I attached a single Wonderful Snowflake to the silver, left of the sentiment.

On the inside I attached a small scrap piece of vellum to the bottom for a little added decoration.

And that is all I did! Now you have a beautiful card to share with a friend or loved one!
